Open the box. Take the stage.

Stella’s package becomes a miniature concert. Open it, bring Joan and her instruments forward, and tap the objects to discover the movement inside the original Aero scene.

Stella Kirby’s Joan Baez design brings historical research into a visual system: a stylized character, the Voices of Change series, a collectible package, and a concert-stage insert. The work moves from the flat surface of a package to a digital scene that an audience can explore through touch.

More than a likeness.

The series name, character, number, and surrounding artwork turn the package into a compact introduction to its subject. A concert-stage insert gives Joan Baez a setting, connecting the figure to the space of performance.

Build the argument. Then build the package.

The archived sequence preserves different kinds of decisions: an AI-assisted concept board, a layout study, and a production dieline. Shown alongside the final artwork, these development artifacts make the design process visible.

From printed panels to a touch-driven scene.

The later Adobe Aero extension used the figure and its accessories as an interactive composition. The model viewer below lets you inspect the archived objects; it is not a recreation of the original Aero experience.
